Nature's Cruel Joke
Alex's future sibling has been put on hold for a little while, after Leanne miscarried this week. It appears the pregnancy had been blighted almost from the beginning and had not been developing at all for the last several weeks, unbeknownst to us all.
While this is naturally sad and disappointing, we're staying positive and seeing it as a minor speedbump on the road to family expansion. Alex gets a reprieve from having to share his toys ... for now.
