One Month Old

Alex weighs 10 lbs. now, and is already starting to grow out of some of his smaller clothes. The muscles in his neck are getting stronger each day, and he practices lifting his head up a lot. He likes taking baths, but hates having his hair and face washed. He still gets hungry about every two hours, but is much better about going right back to sleep after eating during the nights. He tends to have a "fussy time" in the evenings, though -- not quite colic, but he does get to crying pretty hard at times. Jiggling up and down and running the vacuum cleaner seem to work fairly well to calm him.

"Look, Ma! I'm wearing a bigger size diaper now!"

Alex has been starting to notice the toys dangling from his bouncy seat.

Hanging out on the couch with his dad. Check out that head control!

Bright Eyes.

Practicing his Karate Kid hand stance.

The Sound of Silence -- He's finally asleep.

Snoozing in his new front-carry pack.

"Uh oh, I feel a yawn coming on."

"Soooo.....tired...."
