Ten Months Old

("Alex on Tour" Edition, Part 2)

Alex spent this past month finishing up his trip to Missouri, flying out to Oregon, and then back to Germany. A lot of traveling for such a little guy! In fact, he's still a bit confused from the jet lag.

On the developmental front, his crawling has really picked up speed and he's an expert stander, but he still insists on having at least one hand on something solid. He also has been talking up a storm in his baby babble language. So far, we've heard things that sound suspiciously like "mama," "dada," "doggie," "ducky" and "no." But, then again, they might have just been random vocalizations. We'll see what the next month brings.

Alex has a total of six teeth now -- four on top and two on bottom. And, he finally figured out how to drink from a sippy cup by watching a neighbor's toddler do it. Way to go, Alex!
